The Final iPod Update for Windows Vista is Now Available

That’s indeed a good news for Apple iPod users using a Win Vista platform. A critical bug which corrupted data in iPods when they eject the hardware via Windows explorer or safely remove hardware function in the system tray has been fixed through this update.

The updated version works fine with the latest of Apple iTunes. You can download the final compatibility patch from Microsoft Download Centre. It will also be available with the new release of Windows update on May 22nd.
