You can install Windows Vista using an high speed USB 2.0 drive. Boot Windows Vista installation from USB and install it directly from the flash drive. The advantage is that you can complete the entire installation in 9-10 minutes rather than in 30 minutes using original DVD.
Steps involved are :
1. Format USB drive to FAT32 file system.
2. Copy DVD content.
3. Check BIOS to boot from USB.
4. Install.
