Arriving Soon : Windows Vista Service Pack 1

Almost after 8 months of public release, Microsoft is now planning to release SP1 for Windows Vista. Earlier, SP1 was leaked through internet and majority of installed users found huge performance improvement.

Microsoft says they are planning to release Vista SP1 in first quarter of 2008. Currently in beta 3 stage, Vista SP1 is under testing among selected users. With in few weeks, MSDN users will be able test it.

Even though Microsoft says the SP1 is based on user feedbacks, rumors are spreading on the web that Vista was not ready for prime time. Microsoft released Windows Vista way too earlier than it should be.

Now wonder why Vista is not accepted in most of the businesses. ;-)
